Day 2: Off and Stretching

I did wake up at 7....

Well okay, 7:15

But I WOKE UP

Meaning I got my lazy arse out of bed and did something I said I was going to do for once. I stretched. And I know that I'm not flexible—at all.
I felt my muscles strain and tug every time I wanted them to move somewhere that wasn't their normal position, and at first it hurt. Halfway through though I heard the instructor keep saying "Breathe, just breathe."

So I did, and I felt them relax little by little. No, I was not doing the splits by the end of the hour, but I was feeling loose enough to dance or at least feel somewhat accomplished.

But hey, it's a start.

But I notice that my core needs work, meaning my abs (UGH)
But this means I'll have to do some core ab exercises tomorrow, and if that's what it takes, that's what it takes.

Ate today:

Breakfast:
-English Muffin
-Blueberries
-4 oz. of egg whites

Lunch:
-3/4 cup of mashed potatoes
-1 small turkey leg, fried
-1 cup corn
-1/3 cup of noodles

Dinner:
-4 oz. of smoked tuna
-Cherry Limeade from Taco Bell

Geez, I have work to do. This self-control thing is all but fleeting it seems like. But I'll get there. There's a difference between cold turkey and quitting bit by bit. One doesn't work and one does.

So, tomorrow, I'll be up at 9, doing ab exercises and then heading to Bloomington for a day of Christmas shopping and hopefully a Japanese-style lunch.

I just need to remember:

I can do this
